Wheatley, Dennis

The British author and wine merchant Dennis Yeats Wheatley was one of the foremost 20th century authors of thrillers and occult novels. He was born in south London to a family that owned a wine business. He started at Dulwich College, London, in 1908, but he was expelled a year later for his attitude to his teachers and interest in everything that did not have anything to do with his formal education.
