Shepard, Jim

Jim Shepard was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He graduated from Trinity College, Hartford, with a Bachelor of Arts degree and went on to Brown University, Providence, for his Master’s degree. He taught at the University of Michigan 1980-83 before he settled in Williamstown in 1984. He still teaches creative writing and film at Williams College there.
