Kellerman, Faye

The American crime novelist Faye Marder Kellerman was born in St. Louis, Missouri. She moved with her family to Sherman Oaks in Los Angeles when she was five years old and attended Grant High School in Valley Glen, graduating in 1970. She went on to read mathematics at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), graduating with a BA in 1974. She med Jonathan Kellerman – later a major crime novelist – while at university. They were married in 1972.
