Hancock, Anne Mette

After having worked as a journalist and press & publicity manager, Danish Anne Mette Hancock made her international breakthrough as an author with her first crime novel, The Corpse Flower (2017, Ligblomsten). She was born and grew up in the small town of Gråsten in Jylland, Denmark, just north of the border with Germany, but when she was 19 she moved to the USA where she studied History and Journalism. She also met her husband-to-be, designer Tim Hancock; they married in 2016 and have two children. For a while, she even lived in France.
