Ekbäck, Cecilia

Cecilia Ekbäck was born in Stockholm and grew up in Hudiksvall with Sami (Lappish) roots. Her parents were from Lycksele. After studying Marketing at university, she has lived the greater part of her adult life abroad in several different countries, and worked with marketing for international companies. In 2010 she gained a master’s degree in Creative Writing in London. She now lives near Calgary, Canada, with her husband and two daughters, and is a full-time writer. She writes her books in English.
